Share resources (videos, images, documents, web resource) with your learners to enrich their training.
Step 1: When you choose “Media”, you’re accessing a page where the content creator can add new media or use already imported media (videos, images, documents, web resources).
The formats supported by the platform are as follows: MP3; JPEG; PDF; GIF PNG; AVI ; OGG; Word; Powerpoint; Plain text; Openoffice spreadsheet; OpenOffice text; Office excel; Openoffice presentation; Movie file; Quicktime format; FLV video; Open Web Media Project - Video; MP4 file; 3GP; Matroska Video; Windows Media Video; AVI video/
Step 2: To create new media, you need to go to the section “Add” and select one of the following 3 steps:

Media file: import documents which come from your computer (Powerpoint, Word, etc.) using the menu “Add media file”.
a) Click on “Import media”, and a window will then ask you to select the file on your computer.

b) Select it and import it onto the platform.
c) A loading bar will let you know the progress made in adding it.
Good to know: the bigger your file, the longer it will take to download😉

Image bank: the myskillcamp author tool incorporates a free image bank. Insert a key word in the search tool in order to find the image you need.

Web resource: integrate external resources available on the web.
a) Embed code: use this marker to integrate interactive content with an embed or iframe code. Simply copying // pasting will let you add your creation to your course.
In the example above, we have integrated an example from the Genially tool.

b) URL of our media: to import videos from YouTube or from Vimeo.
In the example above, this is a video from our LXDya!
