đź’ˇ Read first: What are skills matching and catalogue rules?
When adding a provider to the catalogue, you might notice that the names for skills from the provider are different to yours from your skill centre. With the skills matching feature, you can link one or more skills together. This means similar skills can be found within the same category in the catalogue.
In this way, you ensure a smooth learner experience! 🙌
Summary:
1. How can I match skills?
Do you want to keep a consistent catalogue of skills after you've integrated an external provider? Match the skills of your learning space with one or more skills from the provider. 🤝

After you successfully completed the integration of an external provider into the learning space, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to your 'I organise' interface, and to the 'Integrations' page.
Step 2: Go to the 'Providers' page. Under the 'Connected Providers' section, click on the provider where you wish to edit the skill links.

Step 3: Go to the 'Skills matching' page. Click on 'Edit' in the upper right corner.

On the left side, you can see your skills from your skills centre.
On the right side, you can see the provider's skills.
Step 4: Drag and drop the provider's skills from the right side to your skills on the left side.

OR click on your skill on the left, and then click on the provider's skill on the right to match them.

đź’ˇ Tip: You can match several skills to one another. The small number next to the provider skill counts the number of times you've matched this skill. If there's no number, then this means that you haven't matched this skill yet.
If you want to match a whole category from the provider, drag the tag 'All'. The 'All' tag is only displayed if there're subcategories.
Step 4: Click on 'Validate' to finish the skills mapping.

âť—Note: When removing a skill link you also remove all related content from the catalogue. This is the case if a provider's skill is matched to only one of your skills, and not to any other. If it's matched to more than one skill, then the content stays in the catalogue under the other skill(s).
