The self-assessment has the same characteristics as the “Project” explained HERE. The only difference resides in the fact that the learners can self-assess independently by giving themselves a score from 0 to 100.
Here are the steps to be followed to correctly configure this activity:
Step 1: Click on the activity editing menu, at the top right.
Step 2: Choose a type of assessment.
- None: the learner must self-assess without submitting any materials.
- Media: allow the learner to import a file from their computer and issue it to a trainer.
- Text field: provide the learner with a text editor and issue it to the trainer.
- Both: media & text field
Step 3: If you wish for the self-assessment score to be taken into account in the overall score of the course, activate it from the “Editing” menu on the right and position it in “On”.
Step 4 - Reevaluation (optional) This function allows you to offer the learner the option of re-doing their self-assessment over time for the same project. To activate this function, go again to the “Editing” menu and position it to “On”.
Find your learners’ projects in the “I organise” interface, “Fields” section, “Corrections” tab.
