If while surfing the web, you come across interesting content (article, podcast, video, etc.) you can pin it directly onto the platform. Follow the steps below to familiarise yourself with the process 🙂.

1. Which steps have to be taken?

Step 1: Log in to your platform and go to “My contents”.

Step 2: Click “Add” then “Add external content”.

Or click the icon for the pin.

A window will open on the right of your screen.


Step 3: Select where you want to publish your content. It is possible to select several options.

If you are a learner you can:

  • Publish in your content.
  • Publish on the newsfeed of a community (available soon).
  • Submit it to your administrator for validation (available soon)

If you are an administrator, you can also:

  • Publish in the catalogue of one of your communities (available soon)
  • Publish on the newsfeed of a community (available soon).

Step 4: Depending on your choice at the previous step:

  • If you are publishing in a community, select one or ore communities in which the content will be published.
  • If you are publishing in a catalogue, choose one or more camps in which the content will be published.

Stage 5: Enter information about your content:

  • The URL of your content.
  • The type: video, article, module
  • The time estimated in minutes, hours or days

Step 6: Now enter:

  • A title and a description (it may be that these zones are pre-completed)
  • The language of the content
  • A photo (it is possible that a photo has already been uploaded)

Step 7: Select the skills associated with your content.

Step 8: In the last window you will see the tag as it will appear in your content. If everything is correct click “Next” to validate the information

If you want to make any changes, go back to the previous steps by clicking the arrow on the left.

2. Where will I find the pinned content?

All the contents on your platform. 🙂 The icon of the pin in the top right hand corner of the card indicates that this content is external.
